I've been collecting these now for a couple of years, with ideas for this project in mind. It's funny how sometimes I get quite excited if it's a colour I'm short on. During the windy winter 2013-14 photographing them became quite a challenge yet more bags than ever had clearly blown from the place their human owner had left them to rest.
Like the best blackberries though, some of the best bags are often just beyond my reach...
